March For Dion Johnson, 6/7/2020

Join us Sunday, June 7, 2020 from 3-6PM for a peaceful march demanding #JusticeForDion! Not only did Arizona DPS shoot Dion Johnson, handcuff him, and leave him on the ground to bleed out, an officer KICKED him while he was dying on the ground. Minneapolis Police stood on #GeorgeFloyd’s neck for 9 minutes; Phoenix paramedics waited 6 minutes before attending to #DionJohnson. That’s why we have to say #BlackLivesMatter. That’s why there's an uprising across the country, because we aren’t going to take it anymore!

We demand justice for those we've lost and an end to police violence!

Demands
* Release the police report.
* Release unedited highway camera footage.
* Release the officer’s name.
* Fire the officer and hold him accountable.
* Open a Justice Department investigation to avoid Phoenix PD bias.

What to bring
* Mask for you, extras for others
* Lots of water & snacks
* Umbrella for shade
* Good walking shoes (40 min of marching)
* Signs, art, ribbons, tape for a community mural.

* The police are treating us like war-time enemies, threatening us with violence militarized weapons. For this reason we cannot make public all details of this march at this time.
